Located close to both the airport and the capital Male, Bandos Convention Centre offers sophisticated conference facilities to a global audience. The facility provides versatile space, accommodating up to 350 guests for large conferences to more intimate meeting rooms that cater for up to 20 people. All meeting rooms are fully equipped to meet all your requirements and come complete with comprehensive technical support. We can take care of everything from transportation to catering and even supply Maldivian cultural entertainment, ensuring your meeting is productive and memorable.

Exchange vows with your loved ones in a traditional island ceremony at the Bandos Maldives. With local-style decoration and unique cultural costumes with Maldivian drums, the ceremony of Renewal of Vows is held on the beach followed by a private cruise on a Dhoni (Maldivian boat). The couple can then enjoy a romantic private dinner set on the beach of Bandos – a unique tropical Maldivian experience to re-celebrate your special day. You can also choose to exchange your vows in a truly unforgettable away, surrounded by lush tropical sea life under the crystal blue waters of the Indian Ocean by getting an underwater celebratory ceremony.

Inspired by our rich fishing tradition, we offer you one of the most exciting excursion while staying at the lovely beachside villas, to truly enjoy your holiday the ‘Maldivian way’. Gather your friends to form a team of 4 and take the morning boat for an adventurous fishing expedition; explore the large monsters of the deep ocean. These extraordinary fish weight up to 70 kilos and grows up to 8m or more. We offer trolling and casting techniques. Baracudda, Sail fish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin and Tuna are popular with trolling method. Giant Travelly, Red Snappers, Groupers are more common with casting. Master this excursion with complete comfort, our state of the art vessel offers breakfast on board, various chilled drinks and beers while longer trips come with lunch. In addition, fresh water, towels and washrooms are also available on board. The vessel comes with a prowler and fish finder, global positioning systems, radar, fighter chair, PEN international rods for trolling and Shimano rods for casting (spin fishing).

Keeping that in mind, we offer an in-house fitness club - Paradise Club sports complex for our guests to keep fit, unwind and simply have fun. Enjoy beach volleyball or tennis on our flood-lit courts, rejuvenate yourself at our steam bath or Sauna, or take advantage of our fabulous fitness suite, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The fitness suite is open to all guests free of charge. Guests seeking a slower pace can unwind in our lounge and entertainment area and catch up on the latest news and sport from around the world. Board games and table tennis are also on offer, ensuring there’s something for everyone in paradise.

Our swimming pool is the perfect place for you to just laze your day, dip your feet and enjoy the intensity of the breeze or, just relax by floating or swimming in the pool. Enjoy your day reading by the swimming pool, whilst your children enjoy in the children’s pool. And if you’re thirsty you would not have to go far, just swim across or stop by our Pool Bar being right at the side of the pool!.

Our medical clinic, with a decompression chamber and hyperbaric chamber, is available at all times should you need it. All guests need to have insurance to cover dive accidents. If divers do not have appropriate insurance; DAN short term packages are also available at Dive Bandos which will cover decompression sickness (DCS), and chamber treatments up to €6,000. Bandos Medical has a general practitioner, a dive medical officer (European) and a nurse on location 24 hours a day.

Bandos Maldives is known to be affiliated with one of the best and the longest running diving center that has been awarded several times over the years and houses the best of the professional staff for all kind of diving excursions, trainings and certifications. Its friendly, professional and multilingual team will guide you through an exploration of the spectacular aquamarine world of the Maldives surrounded and submerged with lush underwater gardens, colourful fishes and magnificent seascapes in total safety. The convenient location of Bandos in the southern part of the North Male Atoll offers access to over 40 impressive dive sites. We offer a wide range of PADI courses. Our multi-lingual instructors are able to conduct courses in English, German, Italian, French, Japanese and Chinese and will provide you with all the requisite teaching materials in these languages.

Bandos Maldives understands the whole concept of ‘me-time’ during a relaxing holiday. Hence, to ensure that the guests who have kids do get their time-out whilst their young ones can enjoy stimulating activities under the careful watch of qualified child minders! For the same, the island resort houses a kids-only club called the Kokko Kid Club. The club is open from 0800hrs -1700hrs where children are entertained and can make new friends while parents enjoy a dive or sunbathing on the beach. There are a range of dining options for parents to pre-order from for meals and snacks for their children while they are away. Activities range from arts and crafts, cooking lessons and treasure hunting to reading a book or playing a board game during a rainy day.

We have an in-house medical clinic, equipped with a hyperbaric and decompression chamber. Our medical center has two doctors available round the clock for general and dive related requirements.
